New tactics needed in a new situation of propaganda war

The police have become rioting hooligans. We now have a propaganda war between two groups of hooligans: The Protester Hooligans and the Police Hooligans.
A propaganda war is a struggle where each group tries to win public opinion. Each group tries to influence public opinion as much as possible.
On one side we now have the Police Hooligans. They practice an extreme, bloodstained brutality that will horrify the public and inevitably turn public opinion in favour of the protesters.
It would seem quite impossible turn the public this way, because the Protester Hooligans have worked ver hard to prevent this. Yesterday the Protester Hooligans made huge efforts, struggling hard all day with arson and looting and all kinds of mayhem and rioting. They really tried to show as much hooliganism as possible, they did their very best to turn the public opinion against the protesters.
But then, suddenly the Police Hooligans appeared, with tactics that will turn the tables completely. Since the Police Hooligans attack people, not just things, and in such a horrible way too, public opinion will now inevitably favor the protesters. As a result, suddenly the great effort of the Protester Hooligans has been all in vain.
I wonder what the Protester Hooligans will do next. What extreme tactics will they use, to try to turn the public back against the protesters, in spite of the superior tactics of the Police Hooligans?

Police Hooligans are simply an anarchist dream come true.
The anarchists have struggled hard to get the police replaced by hooligans. It is quite clear that the anarchists hate the police and want them removed. It is also quite clear that in anarchist society dissenters get their windows smashed and their furniture burnt by hooligans.
The Italian police force has been kind enough to give them exactly what they asked for, Police Hooligans.
The anarchists have nothing to complain about. They should rejoice instead. This is their society made real, this is their dream come true.

And what would you do with this support if the scary 'bad protestors' disappeared? More marches, more blaming other people for your own irrelevance.
Wake up, the G8 leaders aren't talking about stopping having meetings like Genoa because they were put off by marches or speeches. They state that they can't take the disruption any more, nothing about too much bad media, nothing about the protestors being too beautiful for them, it about the disruption!
Those who were street fighting, while they did stuff wrong, were the ones who massively disrupted the meeting while nonviolent direct action people contented themselves with marching around irrelevantly and then blaming others for the back seat role they put themselves in.
The non-violent direct action of today is a disgrace to the confrontational spirt of Seattle. Non-violence is going to have to be come way more relevant to resisting rich and powerful.
