[Autistici/Inventati] C'e' grossa crisi: campagna sottoscrizioni 2008

Bancarotte, fallimenti, depressione e crolli in borsa: lo scintillante mondo del capitale globale crolla prevedibilmente a pezzi, ma nonostante le nostre previsioni siano chiaramente confermate, neanche noi, diciamolo, ci sentiamo tanto bene.

Il fatto e' che se le nostre casse continuano a svuotarsi ai ritmi di quest'anno, tra breve altro che Lehman Brothers e crisi dei subprime: il rischio e' sempre quello, che i nostri server cedano all'usura del tempo e che i nostri fondi non bastino a sostenere l'infrastruttura che vi permette di comunicare con il vostro account di posta, le mailing list, i siti e i blog di Autistici/Inventati.

Eh si', perche' quest'anno, travolti dagli eventi, non ve lo abbiamo ma ricordato e voi, smemorat*, mica ci avete tanto pensato: anche se tutto quanto facciamo come collettivo A/I si svolge su base del tutto gratuita, i costi ci sono e sono consistenti ( http://www.autistici.org/it/who/costs.html )
e senza il sostegno di tutta la comunita' dei nostri utenti la nostra esistenza e' costantemente in pericolo e rischia di perdere significato.

Mentre il solstizio d'inverno si avvicina, quando i giorni si accorciano e il maltempo incoraggia le riflessioni profonde, premunitevi per la grossa crisi che ci attende finanziando i vostri mezzi di comunicazione.

2008 SUBSCRIPTION CAMPAIGN

Bankruptcies, failures, depression and crashes: the glamorous world of global capital is falling apart, but even if our prophecies have been clearly confirmed, we aren't feeling very well either.

The problem is that if our funds keep depleting at the current pace, we could eventually make a joke even of Lehman Brothers and the subprime crisis: the risk is always the same -- our servers might not stand wear and tear and our money could not be enough to sustain the infrastructure allowing for communication through the mail accounts, mailing lists, websites and blogs offered by A/I.

It is true: this year's events have been so overwhelming that we didn't remind you about it, and you were rather distracted, so you didn't remember it very often -- even if A/I's services are all offered on a free basis, we do have to face a lot of costs (see http://www.autistici.org/en/who/costs.html ) and without the support of all our users our sheer existence is at risk and could eventually become meaningless.

So while the winter solstice approaches, as days become shorter and the cold weather encourages deep musings, prepare for the forthcoming crisis by funding your means of communication.
