ASSEMBLEA SULLE ELEZIONI MEZZOCANNONE 16
LUNEDI 15 DICEMBRE 2008 ORE 14:00
Il 12 dicembre 2008 gli studenti e le studentesse della Federico II, dopo la manifestazione legata allo sciopero generale, hanno occupato la sede di via Mezzocannone 16 per dare vita a uno spazio reale che sia punto di riferimento per le lotte di tutto l’ateneo, dal momento che questa sede ospita i corsi di molte facoltà.
Obiettivo di questa azione è il blocco delle elezioni studentesche previste per il 16 e 17dicembre; abbiamo deciso di dare un forte segnale che risponda ai tentennamenti e ai giochi tattici del rettore Trombetti (che inizialmente aveva rinviato a tempo indeterminato, sotto la pressione degli studenti e delle studentesse, la convocazione del 2 e 3 dicembre) per dimostrare che la mobilitazione in tutte le facoltà dell’Ateneo è viva più che mai, e che il clima di serenità che, secondo il rettore, sarebbe necessario per il normale svolgimento delle elezioni, non c’è.
Le attuali rappresentanze si sono dimostrate, soprattutto in questi mesi di protesta, uno strumento inutile, non rappresentativo delle istanze studentesche; organo di gente dedita unicamente al conseguimento di interessi personali o di qualche partito. Questi rappresentanti non sono nient’altro che delegati/burocrati, e questo Movimento rifiuta il concetto stesso di delega.
E’ nostra intenzione rimarcare la nostra completa indipendenza da qualsiasi partito politico, sindacato o lista elettorale. Non abbiamo alcuna volontà di candidarci né a queste elezioni né a quelle che verranno.
Denunciamo poi con forza la presenza, all’interno delle candidature, di liste ed esponenti neofascisti (Blocco studentesco a Giurisprudenza).
In questo contesto va ripensato tutto il sistema della rappresentanza, in direzione di un reale allargamento della partecipazione e dell’aumento del peso politico degli studenti nella vita dell’Ateneo.
La scelta radicale dell’occupazione mira a rilanciare l’energia politica del movimento studentesco napoletano contro la legge 133, culmine di attacchi che, da 15 anni a questa parte, stanno trasformando l’università pubblica all’insegna del profitto privato; in un momento in cui i Media, strumento ideologico del Potere, intendono zittirlo con il loro colpevole silenzio.
Con questa occupazione intendiamo rinsaldare l’unità delle lotte di tutti i soggetti sociali colpiti da questa storica crisi del capitalismo. Da anni, attraverso processi di privatizzazione e precarizzazione, governi di centro-destra e centro-sinistra, dietro le spinte di direttive europee come la Strategia di Lisbona o la Bolkenstein, hanno effettuato una rapina di tutti i beni comuni e i diritti sociali (istruzione, sanità, lavoro, acqua e ambiente).
