Appello urgente per prevenire la deportazione
4 attivisti internazionali e 4 attivisti israeliani sono stati arrestati oggi mentre cercavano di impedire ai bulldozer [israeliani] di sradicare gli alberi a Budrus in Cisgiordania. Budrus, insieme ai villaggi di Midiya, N'ilin e Kibiya, stanno per essere praticamente imprigionati dal Muro in ogni direzione.
I 4 Israeliani sono stati successivamente rialsciati dopo aver assicurato alle autorità israeliane che non sarebbero rientrati nei Territori Palestinesi Occupati per i prossimi 14 giorni.
Gli attivisti internazionali, invece, sono stati trasferiti alla stazione di polizia di Giv'at Zeev dove alcuni di loro hanno già dovuto presenziare alle udienze con un rappresentante del Ministero dell'Interno israeliano in merito alla loro deportazione. A Kate Raphael, dell'IWPS - International Womens' Peace Service http://www.womenspeacepalestine.org, è stato confermato, durante l'udienza, che le autorità israeliane hanno deciso di deportarla. Kate tenterà ogni modo in maniera nonviolenta di resistere alla deportazione e conta sul vostro sostegno. Pressioni sul Ministro e sul Ministero dell'Interno israeliano possono essere decisive.

URGENT CALL TO PREVENT DEPORTATION!
Four international activists and four Israeli activists were arrested today while trying to stop bulldozers from uprooting trees in the West Bank village of Budrus. Budrus, together with the villages of Midya, N'ilin, and Kibiya, is about to be imprisoned by the wall from all directions. The four Israelis were released after they agreed not to enter the occupied territories for 14 days. The international activists, however, were transferred to Giv'at Zeev police station where some have already had their hearings with a representative from the Ministry of Interior regarding their deportation. Kate Raphael (from IWPS) had her hearing and they want to deport her. She will try any nonviolent measure to resist her deportation, and is counting on your support. Pressure on the ministry and the minister are crucial.
