Alle ore 9.00 una grossa fetta di movimento studentesco, insieme con precar* e disoccupat* hanno occupato un edificio. Una nuova occupazione nel cuore del centro storico di napoli, luogo in cui il numero di beni pubblici in stato di abbandono cresce sempre di più, come esponenzialmente il costo degli affitti a nero nelle stanze per student* e precar*. L’edificio in questione era un dipartimento dell’università di Napoli che è stato occupato e trasformato in luogo in cui oggi inizieremo a realizzare uno dei nostri bisogni, la casa.
Rivendichiamo reddito e ce ne riappropriamo direttamente.

Oggi, 15 dicembre, un centinaio di student*, precar* e disoccupat* ha liberato uno dei tanti edifici pubblici del centro storico abbandonati all’incuria e alla speculazione.
Siamo nel cuore del centro storico, in una delle palazzine universitarie abbandonate da anni, al centro delle contraddizioni di questa città, di questo sistema economico e di questa Europa. L’edificio, collocato in via Luigi de Crecchio n.12 (quella che precede il vecchio auditorium dove fu girato “Morte di un matematico napoletano”), è stato abbandonato a metà dei lavori lasciando due piani fatiscenti, così come in disuso risultano anche altri beni demaniali in questa strada.
Ai tempi dell’austerity e dei sacrifici la ricetta che proponiamo è un’altra: riappropriazione di spazi, reddito e felicità. Queste le parole d’ordine della campagna “Magnammece o’ pesone”, partita dalle mobilitazioni autunnali contro le politiche di austerity, che hanno accomunato tante e tanti nel rivendicare reddito universale e incondizionato.
Il centro storico di Napoli è il quartiere in cui più è urgente la questione abitativa: migliaia di studenti abitano in case molto spesso fatiscenti e non a norma, senza alcun tipo di contratto, con affitti altissimi e in continuo aumento. A fronte delle inesistenti politiche sociali da parte dell’ amministrazione comunale e del mancato investimento nel diritto allo studio da parte della Regione Campania (che dovrebbe garantire studentati, mense, tariffe agevolate sui trasporti e borse di studio e che invece aumenta del 126% la tassa regionale sul diritto allo studio) rispondiamo riprendendoci il nostro presente e riappropriandoci del diritto all’abitare. Questo quartiere risulta ufficialmente quasi disabitato perché il Comune di Napoli decide di non vedere le centinaia di studenti e lavoratori che lo abitano, lasciando che il mercato degli affitti sia di fatto una giungla senza contratti e garantendo rendite spropositate che precarizzano ancora di più le nostre vite.
Oggi, 15 dicembre, scade, inoltre, il contratto del Comune di Napoli con la Romeo Immobiliare per la parte relativa all’edilizia popolare. Dopo un lungo periodo in cui il patrimonio immobiliare pubblico è stato gestito in maniera privatistica e, quindi, senza nessun beneficio per la collettività, stiamo assistendo addirittura alla dismissione e alla svendita di questi immobili.
Questa è la prima tappa di una campagna che mira a riconquistare una vita dignitosa per tutt*, attraverso la riappropriazione di reddito reale partendo dal diritto all’abitare.
