[genoa g8] They all have been thrown down the tower

They all have been thrown down the tower.

After 21 hearings in Genoa's courtrooms, today (december the 13th) the
pretrial hearing for the 28 policemen charged of falsehood, slander and
injuries for the events occurred during [july 21 2001 saturday's night]
at the 'Diaz' scoolhouse and at the Mediacenter located at 'Pascoli'
schoolhouse has come to an end.

Everyone of them has been remanded for trial and will face it on april
the 6th, 2005.

Anyway it stands clear that the truth about that night won't be written
by the courthouse, and that a courthouse is not the ultimate context
for asking for any kind of justice; it stands even clearer since those
28 policemen are not under investigation for the facts - ie for having
butchered and arrested 93 persons - but merely because they were so
inept that the proofs they made up to justify their fascist squad
actions just proved to be far too unplausible.

However this sentence has an implicit political value for the highest
officials who were present that evening, indicating definite
responsibilities and the minds behind the operation of social control
and emergency building which Genoa represented. Sure, there were
pressions from the highest statal organs on the court, the lawyers, and
those who where present in the courtroom (one for all: Grattieri, chief
of antiterrorism, who followed every hearing to let everyone feel the
weigh of authority).

But they all have been thrown down the tower
