Per non far sembrare che passiamo solo il tempo a rompere i computer,

++ I BLOG

No Blogs e' uno spazio appena nato dove aprire e gestire il proprio
blog, secondo le policy di anonimato e riservatezza che normalmente ci
contraddistinguono.

Il progetto No Blogs nasce dalla volonta' di aggiornare l'offerta dei
servizi di autistici.org / inventati.org all'evoluzione che gli
strumenti della comunicazione digitale hanno avuto negli ultimi
anni. Ci siamo resi conto che un numero consistente di persone ha
bisogno di uno spazio in cui comunicare con immediatezza e
semplicita', per potersi concentrare sui contenuti, e colmare un poco
la distanza tra voglia di esprimere idee e conoscenze tecniche
richieste per farlo. Si tratta di un progetto che vorremmo sviluppare
ulteriormente, oltre il singolo blog, sperimentando con il concetto di
comunita'...

++ UN NUOVO SERVIZIO DI BOOKMARKING

Oltre ai blog abbiamo pensato di proporre un servizio di condivisione
dei vostri link preferiti, altrimenti noti come bookmark.

Molti di noi lo stanno gia' usando (in via sperimentale) e siete tutti
invitati a provarlo. Potrete avere sia i vostri link privati che
condividerli con le altre persone. In linea generale la condivisione
delle risorse e' uno dei punti fondanti del nostro progetto, e
ampliare questo meccanismo agli ambiti piu' disparati e' cio' che ci
piacerebbe realizzare maggiormente.

++ LO STATO DEL PIANO R

Il Piano R, il progetto di ristrutturazione dei servizi di A/I seguito
al crackdown (http://www.autistici.org/ai/crackdown) del giugno 2005,
procede: la realizzazione e' quasi completa e comprende un certo
numero di server sparsi in paesi differenti, una struttura di testing,
e diverse macchine per il backup (due per ora). Per capire di cosa
stiamo parlando date un occhio alla documentazione sul piano R e alla
meravigliosa mappina:

Stiamo progressivamente eliminando i problemi di stabilita' dovuti ai
vecchi server (sostituendoli con macchine piu' affidabili) e allo
stato di work-in-progress del piano. Grazie alle vostre segnalazioni,
ai consigli sul forum e non solo, al lavoro di tutti i membri del
collettivo, i nostri servizi stanno funzionando meglio e con maggiore
continuita' (ma non dimenticate di stringere sempre gli amuleti, e
contattare le vostre nonne affinche' realizzino riti tesi a cacciare
il malocchio dalle nostre macchine).

++ BLOGS

No Blogs is a newborn space where you will be able to open and manage
your blog, under our usual anonymity and privacy policy.

No Blogs project stems from the desire of keeping autistici.org /
inventati.org service offer up to date with what the tools of digital
communication have become in the last years. We have become aware
that most people actually need a website where they can communicate in
a simple and direct way, focusing on content production, filling up
the distance between their desire to speak and write and their
technical skills.
It's a project we would like to develop further in the future, beyond
the single and simple blog, towards a community with many interesting
things to offer.

++ A NEW BOOKMARK SHARING SERVICE

Apart from blogs, we thought of offering you a new bookmark sharing
service.

Many of us are already using it (experimentally) and you are all
invited to test it. You can have both private and public links, and
share them with other people. Generally speaking the sharing of
resources has always been one of the cornerstone of our project:
widening our tools in this field is our favorite game.

++ R PLAN STATUS

The R PLAN is the service infrastructure restructuration project we
devised after A/I crackdown (http://www.autistici.org/ai/crackdown) of
june 2005, and it has been ongoing for more than one year: the
implementation is almost complete and it includes several servers
spread all over the place, a test structure, and several backup boxes
(two at the moment). To better understand what are we talking about,

We are solving day by day the problems we are still enduring due to
old servers (replacing them with new and more reliable boxes) and to
the work-in-progress nature of the R Plan. Your advice, the work of
all the members of the collective, and your pointing out errors and
problems on our forums and on our mail contacts have been most
useful. They made our services work better and more stably (but don't
forget crossing your fingers, touching wood, iron or any other thing,
and please tell your granny to use her witchcraft to help us and keep
curses off our servers).
