Al-Anbar Province.

Ar-Ramadi.

Resistance barrage hits al-Warrar base west of ar-Ramadi Tuesday afternoon.

Iraqi Resistance forces fired seven Grad rockets into the US al-Warrar base west of ar-Ramadi in western Iraq’s al-Anbar Province at 2pm local time Tuesday.  The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in the area reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bombardment targeted the northern part of the camp and that it sent dense clouds of smoke and tongues of flame rising into the sky for two whole hours.

American helicopters could be seen coming and going over the base after the attack, an indication that casualties were being evacuated.

An official source in the camp – an Iraqi collaborating as a translator with the occupation forces – told Mafkarat al-Islam that the barrage destroyed four large barracks buildings.  The source acknowledged that the Americans suffered dead and wounded as a result of the attack.

US troops kill, wound civilians in ar-Ramadi.

US forces killed a civilian and wounded four more in two separate attacks in the area of ar-Ramadi, the Jordanian daily al-‘Arab al-Yawm reported Wednesday.  Dr. ‘Ammar al-‘Alwani of ar-Ramadi Hospital told the newspaper that on Tuesday a body of a civilian was brought in.  It had been completely burned.  Witnesses said the victim had been driving his car near a checkpoint the Americans had set up on Twenty Street in the middle of ar-Ramadi when the Americans opened fire intensively on the car, having got the idea that the driver wanted to approach their checkpoint.  The intense gunfire caused the car to burst into flame, completely burning the vehicle and the driver.

Elsewhere in ar-Ramadi, Iraqi Resistance forces reportedly opened fire on a US patrol in the al-Bu Farash area in the north of the city.  The Americans responded by opening fire on numerous local civilian houses.  In one particular house, the American bombardment wounded four persons – a woman and three children, local residents told al-‘Arab al-Yawm, adding that the four were taken to hospital for treatment after the American attack.  A Reuters video showed extensive damage to the home after an American rocket hit the building, blosing a huge hole in its roof.

Al-Hadithah.

Massive explosion shakes US base in al-Hadithah Tuesday afternoon.

In a dispatch posted at 4:15pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Hadithah, al-Anbar Province, reported that a short while before a very powerful bomb had exploded by the local US base in a blast that was heard throughout the entire city.  Clouds of smoke could be seen rising over the facility.

Resistance bomb targets US military column in al-Haqlaniyah Tuesday afternoon.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the bomb went off next to a US military column in al-Haqlaniyah at 3pm local time Tuesday.  The blast disabled a Humvee and killed or wounded four US troops.  The American casualties were taken by helicopter to the ‘Ayn al-Asad American airbase west of al-Hadithah.  Local witnesses told the correspondent that the bomb went off next to a US column made up of several vehicles that was trying to get into the city from the north.  The bomb, however, prevented them from getting safely into the center of the city.

Al-Qa’im.

“Ferocious” rocket barrage blasts US troops in al-Qa’im.

Iraqi Resistance forces in al-Qa’im – in al-Anbar Province on the Syrian border – unleashed a fierce barrage of nine powerful rockets into US forces in the city at 12 noon local time Tuesday Mafkarat al-Islam reported.  The director of  American – Iraqi supplies in the US “A22” base said that “dozens” of US troops were killed or wounded in the “ferocious” barrage of what were believed to be Grad rockets.  The correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported seeing US helicopters transporting casualties to the US base west of the city.

Baghdad.

Resistance battles puppet troops, frees woman they had captured in 45 minute battle in as-Suwayrah.

Iraqi Resistance forces battled Iraqi puppet forces in as-Suwayrah, south of Baghdad on Tuesday.  The correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam in as-Suwayrah, which is predominantly Shi‘i, reported that the fighting broke out in the al-Karrar neighborhood east of as-Suwayrah at 10am local time Tuesday.

Witnesses reported that the Resitance fighters used their traditional weapons including pipe rocket launchers and medium weight machine guns.  The battle lasted about 45 minutes and left 20 puppet troops dead.  The Resistance for its part lost three fighters martyred, one of them an Arab from a fraternal country, sources in the Resistance reported.

A source in the puppet so-called “Iraqi rapid deployment force” confirmed that 20 puppet troops were killed.  Another four were moderately wounded, he said.

A witness in the area told the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that the fighting broke out when puppet army troops began raiding houses of local Sunni residents in the city, claiming that they belong to the Resistance.  The puppet soldiers raided the home of a Sunni religious leader in the city but the man was not at home.  The puppet troops therefore arrested the man’s wife.  That brought out the Resistance fighters who engaged the puppet soldiers in combat.  In the course of the fighting, the Resistance was able to free the captive wife of the religious scholar and spirit her out of the city to an unknown destination.  The fighting left four puppet force Toyota pickup trucks destroyed.

The correspondent reported that the Iraqi puppet forces called in US troops to help them but the Americans arrived too late.  When they got there the Resistance fighters had already withdrawn from the area, leaving the wrecked vehicles and 20 dead puppet troops behind.

Resistance bomb kills four US troops in al-Fahhamah Tuesday morning.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column in the al-Fahhamah area east of al-Hillah and south of Baghdad at exactly 10am Tuesday morning, local time.  The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in the city reported eyewitnesses as saying that the high-explosive bomb was planted in the middle of a road under a sewer cover.  The explosion destroyed a US Humvee and killed four American troops.

The commander of the American patrol confirmed to the correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam that the bomb, which he attributed to “terrorists”, killed four US troops and destroyed one Humvee.

Representative of Iraqi regime’s “Ministry of Health”: America used mustard gas, nerve gas and other internationally prohibited substances in al-Fallujah.

Dr Khalid ash-Shaykhli, a representative of the puppet so-called “Iraqi ministry of health” who was authorized to assess the health conditions in al-Fallujah after the end of the major battles there, announced that the surveys and studies that a medical team did in al-Fallujah and then reported to the “ministry” confirm that US forces used substances that are internationally prohibited – including mustard gas, nerve gas, and other burning chemicals – in the course of its attacks on the city.

Ash-Shaykhli held a press conference in the health ministry building in Baghdad’s Bab al-Mu‘azzam section on Tuesday.  He began by reporting on the final results of the fact-finding mission’s survey of the situation in which the people of al-Fallujah find themselves.  He said that the city now is still experiencing the effects of chemical and other types of weapons used by the Americans, which will be causing serious diseases over the long term.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam asked ash-Shaykhli what were the facts regarding use by the occupation forces of limited nuclear weapons.  Dr. ash-Shaykhli said, “what I saw during our researches in al-Fallujah make me believe everything that has been said about that battle.  I absolutely do not exclude their use of nuclear and chemical substances, since all forms of nature were wiped out in that city.  I can even say the we found dozens, if I don’t say hundreds, of stray dogs, cats, and birds that had perished as a result of those gasses.”

During the press conference, which was attended by more than 20 Iraqi and Arab journalists, Ash-Shaykhli promised that he would be sending the study and the results that the committee produced to responsible bodies – both Iraqi and international ones.

The press conference was attended by correspondents of the Iraqi ash-Sharqiyah television network, the Iraqi “government”-run al-‘Iraqiyah satellite TV network, and the as-Sumariyah network, in addition to foreign media, such as the American Washington Post and the Knight-Ridder service and the Iraqi as-Sabah newspaper – besides the correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam.

The findings disclosed at Tuesday’s press conference must be seen as the most serious statements to be made since the end of nearly four months of military operations in al-Fallujah, Mafkarat al-Islam noted.  Mafkarat al-Islam was the first to report on the American occupation forces’ use of gasses and burning and chemical substances during the first days after the outbreak of fighting in the city.

Iraqi Resistance group executes Kurdish chauvinist spy.

The Iraqi Resistance organization Army of the Partisans of the Sunnah [Prophet’s practice] announced in a video that was broadcast on an internet website on Tuesday that they had executed a member of the Kurdish chauvinist so-called Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) party (which is headed by Jalal Talibani) for spying.

Agence France Presse (AFP) reported that the video announced that fighters in the organization had taken an “apostate” member of the PUK prisoner.  They said that the PUK command had recruited a group of spies with the mission of keeping track of the Resistance and transmitting any information they had about them.  This, the video said, was a “small service provided by the apostates to the Crusaders in order that they might regain control over the city of Mosul.”

The video concluded saying, “after completing an investigation of him and after he confessed to the mission for which he was recruited and the network with which he operated, the punishment of God the Exalted was inflicted upon him, and he was shot to death as a warning for others.”  The video showed the man’s execution by shooting in the head.

A member of the Iraqi fire department under the Iraqi puppet forces told Mafkarat al-Islam that the blast killed four and wounded two Americans.  In addition, he said, an Iraqi translator who was collaborating with the Americans and was inside the stricken vehicle was also killed in the attack.

Afterward, US forces sealed off the scene of the ambush and evacuated the dead and wounded.  At the time the correspondent filed his report the street was still closed.
