22 luglio 2002:
Atlanta
- un evento pubblico davanti alla sede mondiale della Transnazionale.
report di Atlanta Indymedia:
Various Labor Organizations, Act Up! Atlanta, and other activists hit the streets to address two main issues. The first is killing and intimidation of union members, by paramilitary groups, involved in organizing efforts at Coca-Cola plants in Colombia. Secondly, the failure of Coca-Cola to provide adequate health care/AIDS treatment to its African workforce. Approximately 60-70 people took part in the picket and street theater. Activists from the different organizations presented the Coca-Cola company with a warrant demanding that Coca-Cola take responsibility for its actions.
