Quello stesso giorno, una manifestazione di rifiuto verso il nuovo presidente Enrique Peña Nieto, viene fortemente repressa lasciando il saldo di un morto, il compagno Francisco Kuy Kendall, un altro che perde un occhio, Uriel Sandoval, e una’altra persona tuttora scomparsa, Teodulfo Torres detto El Tio, oltre a un gran numero di arresti.

In questo secondo audio spiegano l’importanza di date quali il 2 ottobre e il 10 giugno per il movimento messicano, in particolare quello studentesco. In queste giornate la gente si organizza e scende in strada per commemorare gli anniversari di due terribili massacri, quello di Piazza Tlatelolco del 2 ottobre ’68 e quello del 10 giugno ’71, conosciuto come El Halconazo.
Queste due manifestazioni sono storicamente caratterizzate da scontri e arresti però, a partire dal 2003, il GDF (Governo di Città del Messico) comincia a puntare la sua attenzione sugli anarchici. Il culmine si tocca nel 2009, periodo in cui comincia una serie di arresti arbitrari verso specifici gruppi di compagni, accusati di reati, chiaramente inventati, ma per cui vengono mantenuti per mesi in stati d’arresto.
Ci raccontano della nuova strategia repressiva inaugurata durante la manifestazione del 1 settembre 2013, giorno in cui Peña Nieto presenta i risultati dei suoi primi mesi di governo. Questa strategia include: spiegamento di un operativo poliziesco esagerato, provocazione continua e selettiva verso anarchici e libertari, pestaggi a persone che poi vengono abbandonate ore dopo in altre parti della città, dispersione territoriale degli arrestati e dilatazione dei tempi processuali complicando così le azioni di solidarietà e richiesta di cauzioni esorbitanti per la scarcerazione in attesa dei processi.
Uno dei casi emblematici di questa “nuova” onda repressiva è quello di Jorge Mario González García, arrestato prima della manifestazione del 2 ottobre 2013 su un autobus e mantenuto ingiustamente in arresto con l’accusa di attacco alla pace pubblica. La giudice inizialmente ha negato a Mario la libertà su cauzione, considerandolo un individuo inaffidabile che sarebbe potuto scappare. Mario inizia un sciopero della fame che dura 56 giorni e che decide di interrompere solo per gravi complicazioni alla salute. Successivamente è sentenziato a 5 anni e 9 mesi contro questa condanna ingiusta è stato fatto ricorso.
