The following report has been posted to the Arabic ekhlaas site that describes in detail the treatment Shiekh Abu Hamza is receiving inside Britians Belmarsh prison. Hamza who suffers from health problems remains inside Britians "Abu Ghraib" on terrorism charges.

It has come to our attention that Shaykh Abu Hamza is being tortured and subjected to attempts to take his life.
Guards raid his cell several times daily subjecting him to humiliation using dogs to conduct the raids and attack the Shaykh.

Shaykh Abu Hamza suffers from diabetes, he has no hands and is blinded in one eye. The treatment he has been subjected to has been nothing but detrimental to his health and life.

The Shaykh is repeatedly refused heating when requested and refused blankets to keep him warm. The heating in his cell gets deliberately switched off leaving the cell extremely cold. This leaves the Shaykh exposed to the cold for long periods contributing to sleep depravation, the Shaykh is even being put into situations where he is made to sleep on the floor.

The Shaykh has problems when visiting the toilet, especially when his deteriorating health frequently makes him ill. Any utilities and prosthetic arms the Shaykh had in order that he can conduct a normal life have been taken away. Medication for the Shaykh is either refused or not given on time, hence affecting the Shaykh’s health.

Inmates are encouraged to intimidate him and are also being encouraged to attack and kill Shaykh Abu Hamza. It was not to long ago since Zahid Mubarak was murdered by inmates, the death of Sulayman Zain-ul-Abidin still leaves a string of unanswered questions.

These are the latest tactics of torture being used against the Shaykh. In fact other Muslim detainees in Belmarsh are being treated using these very same venomous methods.

Only last year Muslims in Belmarsh were insulted when Pork was served as prison dinner, after ‘Spicy Pork Chops’ were described as ‘suitable for Halal diets’!

The tactics used at Belmarsh are reminiscent of Abu Gharib where U.S. Lt. Gen. Ricardo S. Sanchez authorised several methods of physical and psychological torture such as “intimidating detainees”, “exploiting the Arab fear of Dogs” (In fact Dogs like Pigs are unclean animals according to Islam), “disorienting detainees”, “sleep management” and “prolonged exposure to cold”.

The methods being used against Shaykh Abu Hamza in particular and the Muslims at Belmarsh in general are tantamount to torture. Belmarsh is Abu Gharib on Downing St.’s doorstep

Even under a so-called “Fundamentalist” Islamic State, prisoners awaiting trial or serving a sentence would never undergo torture. Under Islam the right of ‘innocent until proven guilty’ is a divinely given right and is never stripped away by men in a parliament. No crime from something as small petty-theft to something as great as large-scale genocide would ever warrant the detaining without trial or would change the underlying Islamic rule that a person will be considered innocent until guilt is proven without doubt – regardless of the level of “terror threat”.

Whether one agrees with Islam or not, under Shari’ah Law the principles of Justice are fixed and unchanged. Islam does not change the goal posts at every given opportunity, it is always the same level playing field.

The British Government have chopped and changed everything to target Muslims (namely every “terror” related act since the Terrorism Act 2000). The British Government have chopped and changed everything to target Shaykh Abu Hamza (namely the citizenship and extradition laws).

It will be the British Government who will be held directly responsible if while in their custody any harm or loss of life occurs to Shaykh Abu Hamza or any Muslim for that matter.
