TO GATHER IN PARIS ON MAY 7 AND 8 2016 FOR GLOBALDEBOUT MEETING (#GLOBALDEBOUT)

THE WEEKEND OF MAY 15, 2016

We call on peoples movements across the world to mobilise for justice and democracy on the weekend of May 15th, 2016 for a GLOBALDEBOUT. We invite you to come to Paris for an International Gathering of movements at Place de la Republic on May 7 and 8.

#46mars (April 15), two weeks after one million people mobilized on March 31 the movement Nuit Debout continues to grow around the world. In numerous French and foreign cities, #Nuitdebout (Night on our Feet) see the light and give testimony of hopes and common rebellions. Those who have taken the squares in the past and those who are taking them NOW: we know something is happening.

People of the world, let’s make knock down the borders and don’t make sense I would delete, let’s construct together a new global spring! Join to us on May 7th and 8th in Paris, in the square of the Republic, to debate, to share our experiences and to begin to construct together perspectives and common solutions. There we will strategise and prepare for an International weekend of Action on May, 15th (#76mars) to occupy, mobilise and take direct action together massively the squares in the whole world in this date.

Nuit Debout, there was fixed as the first aim the creation of a space of convergence of fights. This convergence might go still beyond and to spread worldwide. Bows exist between the numerous movements that are opposed in four corners of the world to the precarity to the imposition of the financial markets, to the destruction of the environment, in the wars and to the militarism, to the degradation of our living conditions.

To the competition and to the egoistic, we answer with the solidarity, the reflection and the collective action. Our differences already are not a source of divisions, but the base of our complementarity and of our common force. Not listened not represented, we, you present of any condition, we re-appropriate together of the word and of the public space: we do politics, because it is a matter of all.

Today is not the moment to get angry in solitude in a corner, but of acting all together.

We are the 99 % and we have the aptitude to act and to reject definitively those of 1 % and his world, to take back our cities, our places of work, our lives.

On May 7th and 8th, let’s come together to Paris to the square of the Republic!
